Thank goodness for technical support

I’ve been having problems adding new posts to my blog recently. Each time I published a post with an image or hyperlink it wasn’t added to my site, which as you can imagine was infuriating.

I hit the forums and Wordpress support, but couldn’t find a solution for a non techie like me. So the last resort was to contact my host tech support line, which because of the ridiculously low cost of my hosting I’d figured would be non-existent.

EUKHost

However, to my surprise I got a quick answer (not from the free phone number though) from what sounded like somewhere in India. Within three minutes the problem was fixed! It was something to do with a security update on the server apparently.. your guess is as good as mine.

So, despite me buying on price, it seems my host is indeed the class act it promises to be. If you need a new host or are just getting setup I can heartily recommend EUKHost.

They are UK based and their basic package is £22.99 per year which includes:

- 200MB disk space
- 2GB bandwidth per month
- Unlimited domains and sub domains
- MySQL and PHP
- Unlimited email addresses
- 24×7 phone, email and live chat support

This is cheap and quality so don’t be shy. Check them out!

I had a good long conversation with the support guy and I’m confident as my internet marketing business grows, these guys will be easily able to accommodate my needs. Nice!

(I am not being paid for this promotion, it is on the back of a great customer support experience.)

Strange to hear about such good service from a cheap web host. I’ve heard some horror stories, especially about ipower. Lucky you!

I’ve also heard some horror stories, but so far so good with these guys. I’ll make a note to steer clear of iPower then.

In fact lets open this up and either name and shame poor hosts, or wax lyrical about the good ones. I think I’ll write my next post on this.
