The last update was about a week and a half ago. So, Paula's PageRank didn't jump from 2 to 5 in a couple of days because of all the DoFollow comments, but because all of the backlinks she accumulated over the last few months suddenly began to count toward her PR. I would have thought Google would update the PR scores more frequently than that, especially considering the significance it seems to have acquired.
